John FitzGerald secures acquittal in attempted murder trial

November 10, 2015

John Fitzgerald has secured an acquittal in an attempted murder trial.

The defendant, a Latvian female of good character, was alleged to have driven at speeds of up to 100mph on a narrow country lane before shouting “we’re going to heaven now” and immediately driving into a tree in an attempt to kill her passenger. Incredibly, both escaped the wreckage with relatively minor injuries.

The case was heard at Maidstone Crown Court between 4th and the 10th of November 2015.
