Chambers is able to assist in relation to company law matters in particular director’s duties and liabilities and of course, director’s disqualification proceedings. Examples include representing a company director working in the property sector in relation to alleged misfeasance and conflict of interest and dealing with liabilities arising from pyramid schemes. This work also includes advising as to the consequences of share purchase agreements.

Chambers has special experience in partnership matters, in particular dealing with disputes in relation to partnership property, the duties and obligations of partners and the issues that arise in connection with the termination of such agreements. One example includes a claim arising from misrepresentation of partnership assets.  Another major area where chambers has been doing significant work is in connection with disputes which arise from ventures for the development and sale of property. It also has specific experience of partnership disputes in the context of the legal profession.
