Przemysław Krzywosz

In 1987 Przemysław Krzywosz graduated from University of Warsaw receiving MA degree at the Law and Administration. In 1989 he was granted MA degree in economics at Foreign Trade Department of the Main School of Planning and Statistics (currently Warsaw School of Economics). In 2003 Przemko completed Wharton Advanced Management Program, Wharton Business School, University of Pennsylvania, Pennsylvania, USA and received Post Graduate Diploma in EC Competition Law, Kings College, School of Law, University of London, London.

He is qualified lawyer in two jurisdictions - as Radca prawny in Warsaw, Poland since 1993 and as Solicitor of England & Wales since 2009.

Before the establishment of his own firm Przemko worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers / Coopers & Lybrand (Director), Clifford Chance (lawyer) and Creditanstalt Financial Advisers S.A. (member of the Management Board) focusing on corporate finance and in particular M&A transactions, strategic analysis and risk management.

He took part in numerous international conferences, also as a speaker, and in a series of trainings programs covering management techniques, negotiations, arbitration, corporate finance, project finance and business valuations. Przemko is CIArb accredited trainer (AFL). He also performed duties of Non-Executive Director.

He is the Fellow of the CIArb and Chartered Arbitrator. He is as potential arbitrators and/or is active in: (i) International Arbitration Court at ICC (Polish Committee list / Arbitration Commission), (ii) Polish Chamber of Commerce Arbitration Court (KIG), (iii) LCIA) (iv) AAA-ICDR, (v) DIS, (vi) ASA, (vii) “Lewiatan” Court of Arbitration in Warsaw, (viii) Prague Economic Chamber Arbitration Court, VIAC.

Przemko ADR’s experience comprises of:

(i) 71 arbitration cases both “Polish” (59) and “international” (12) with Austrian, Czech, German, Romanian, Ukrainian and US parties. In those cases he acted 28 times as the Chairman of the Tribunal, 15 times as the Sole Arbitrator and 28 times as a “wing arbitrator”. He served under ICC, UNCITRAL and Polish local arbitration institutions rules (KIG and Lewiatan).

(ii) 2 mediation cases (Mediator), one international (UK/Poland);

(iii) Providing “Polish law advice” to foreign claimant in ICC proceedings.

His present practice is focused on legal and strategic services within the framework of M&A and corporate finance transactions. As an arbitrator he developed expertise in M&A and construction / FIDIC disputes.
