COVID-19: Guidance Tracker

COVID-19 Guidance Tracker

The ‘COVID-19 Guidance Tracker’ is a new resource set up by the Regulatory team at Six Pump Court which is designed to enable businesses and legal professionals to more easily navigate to the applicable COVID-19 guidance that is most relevant to their area of work.

There has been a huge amount of important and helpful guidance released by government, international bodies, regulatory agencies and industry associations in relation to the COVID-19 pandemic over the last few weeks. However, much of that important guidance and advice is in disparate and diverse locations, and new guidance emerges rapidly on a daily basis.

As set out under the headings below, the Regulatory team at Six Pump Court have sought to sift, structure and assemble much of the most important emerging guidance applicable in England & Wales. This is the guidance which we consider is most likely to apply to our clients, with links to the relevant webpages, documents and information.

We have organised these links by industry sectors and topics. We have done so with a view to assisting businesses and those from the legal profession in locating the material that is most relevant to their operations, so that they can better understand this fast-changing landscape. The Regulatory team aim to keep this reference guide up to date on a daily basis.

Members of Six Pump Court are available to give advice on COVID-19 related legal questions and can be contacted through the senior clerk Richard Constable on 020 7797 8403.

We would welcome any feedback from users, including details of links to other relevant and important emerging COVID-19 guidance.

See also our employment law news updates which deal with the key issues that arise in the workplace from the COVID-19 outbreak and also our COVID-19 blog which contains articles written by our Regulatory Team drawing attention to new developments and significant changes to the guidance and regulatory framework.

Key Overarching Guidance

The UK Government has announced its strategy for returning to work. On the 11th May 2020 it released its “Our Plan to Rebuild” guidance in conjunction with its “Working Safely during Coronavirus” guidance which comprised 8 sector specific guidance documents for employers and employees working safely at work. On the same day the Health Protection (Coronavirus, Restrictions) (England) (Amendment) (No.2) Regulations 2020 came into force. However, many other guidance documents exist in relation to other sectors and operations (as set out under some of the headings below).
