David Travers QC to chair annual Food Law Conference

David Travers QC will chair the forthcoming MBL Food Law Conference which will take place this year on 23rd May in London. The event, entitled ‘Food Law Conference 2016: The Hot Topics and Latest Developments’, will focus on an updated range of topical and difficult areas that will appeal to both food lawyers and food scientists and technologists alike.
As well as chairing the event, David Travers QC will speak on the consumer’s exposure to risk – whether consumers should be offered foods which by their nature carry an intrinsic risk to health; and also a further session on consumer health claims and the approach of the EU to these cases.
