Eleanor Laws QC and Thomas Stern conclude their defence of a Lithuanian national tried for the murder and wounding of two Italian men

The trial of four Lithuanians accused of the murder of a young Italian man and the wounding of his friend has concluded at Maidstone Crown Court. Eleanor Laws QC and Thomas Stern were defending.

The first three defendants, Alexandras Zuravliovas, Linas Zidonis and Saulius Tamoliunas, were convicted by the jury following just over five days of deliberation.  The fourth, Tomas Gelezinis, was cleared of all charges.
