The jury in the case of Parkinson and others returned their verdicts on Thursday. The Crown alleged that Parkinson and two of his co-accused had travelled down to Boscombe armed with a sawn-off shotgun in order to kill a young man called Reece Menzies, this at the instigation of the fourth co-accused. All four defendants were acquitted of murder and convicted of manslaughter (by a majority of 10/2).
